Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It really depends on how many people contribute over time. If everything goes smoothly, with the workforce we currently have, we expect to finish the game around 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main goal that must be achieved before calling SuperTux full and complete is to finish the Story Mode, which for the moment includes only two worlds. (soon 3!)

Of course, along the way it's possible that we develop some more features. If you have any idea, let us know!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Story mode is currently roughly halfway done. Most general features (like the level editor) are present, but they are planned to be improved over time.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“SuperTux is 100% free and will always be. The Steam version won't be an exception.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community IS the fueling force of SuperTux! Not only can you see what we develop almost in real time, you can also participate and develop the features you want to see in SuperTux!
